Hendrix College Football Camps





Opened in 2013, Young-Wise Memorial Stadium hosts the Hendrix Football, Men's Lacrosse and Track & Field teams. The stadium opened on September 7, 2013, a day in which the resurgent Warrior

Football team won it's first game of the modern era against Westminster College 46-44 in thrilling fashion with a last second field goal. The new stadium was dedicated on Nov. 9, 2013, before the Warriors' football game with Rhodes College with the families of fallen heros and Hendrix alums, Robert Young, Benjamin, and Jeremy Wise.

Young-Wise Stadium is home to Crafton-Faulkner Field, the surface that Warrior Athletics programs use to compete in Fall and Spring sports. A state-of-the-art facility, Young-Wise Stadium represents the outstanding commitment Hendrix College and its administration have to athletic excellence, in addition to being one of the top academic institutions in the South and the best in Arkansas. Warrior Football has benefitted a great deal in its recruiting efforts by showing off one of the highest quality athletic facilties in NCAA Division III, and the program has competed at a high level at home, winning 21 of its past 23 games at home.


Weight & Cardio Facility: This 7,000 square foot work-out facility is the focal point for those wanting to improve their fitness level. The cardiovascular area includes treadmills, elliptical trainers, upright bikes and recumbent bikes that are all equipped with 15” personal TV screens and FM radio. The weight room also features a complete line of selectorized strength training equipment and free weights.

Recreation Gym & Track: The Recreational Gymnasium is located on the first floor of the WAC and plays host to all recreational and intramural activities.  The Rec Gym consists of two regulation-size basketball and volleyball courts, a three-lane track and a movement studio.


Built in 2013, the 18,000-square foot Sturgis Athletics Center is a hub for the Hendrix College athletic programs. With state-of-the-art weight and athletic training rooms, the Center also houses locker rooms for the Warrior Football, Men's and Women's Soccer and Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams.

The Center is named after the Roy and Christine Sturgis.

The Sturgis Charitable Trust donated $10 million towards the completion of the College's new athletic facilities.

The Sturgis Athletic Center is located in the north end zone of Young-Wise Memorial Stadium and adjacent to the new Indoor Tennis Center.

Hendrix College is located in Conway, Arkansas, approximately 30 miles north of Little Rock.

  • From I-40 West, take Exit 125 – US-65B/Harkrider Street.
  • Turn left onto US-65B/Harkrider Street. (If traveling from I-40 East, turn right onto US-65B/Harkrider Street.)
  • Stay on US-65B/Harkrider Street for about half a mile. Travel past The Village at Hendrix on your left, through the first roundabout (exiting to remain on US-65B/Harkrider Street), and underneath a pedestrian bridge.
  • Remain in the left lane upon entering the second roundabout, and take 4th exit so you are now heading back towards the Highway on Harkrider.
  • Turn right into the parking lot in front of the Wellness and Activity Center (WAC).
